MESA, AZ —  U.S. Representative Adelita Grijalva today announced her endorsement of Congressman Greg Stanton’s campaign for re-election, citing his record of delivering results for Arizona families and his commitment to putting working people first.

Grijalva and Stanton have worked together on issues important to Arizona communities, including the congressional oversight of immigration detention facilities in the state.

“Greg Stanton is a dedicated public servant who fights hard for the people of Arizona,” said Rep. Adelita Grijalva. “I’ve enjoyed working with him throughout my career to deliver results for Southern Arizonans—as a school board member, county supervisor, and now as a colleague in the U.S. House of Representatives. I’m glad to support his campaign for re-election and look forward to continuing our work together to bring meaningful investments to our communities.”

Stanton welcomed the endorsement and praised Grijalva’s leadership and advocacy on behalf of Arizona families.
